====== Creating a POI ======

You can initiate the addition of a new POI in the following ways:

  * creation starting from the map, at a specific point, or
  * creation started from the POI menu.

**Create from map**

You can initiate a new POI at any point on the map.
  - Right-click on the desired point.
  - In the information panel that appears, select the Create POI action.
  - The program creates a POI with the default settings (point type) and displays it on the map at the right-click location, specifying its coordinates and address if possible.
  - The POI setting data sheet opens, where you can enter further data.

**Create from POI panel**

If you do not know the map location of the new POI, but know its address or coordinates, you may want to start recording from the POI panel.
  - Open the POI panel from the menu.
  - Click on the + Add new POI button.
  - The program creates a new POI with the default settings (point type) and displays it in the middle of the map.
  - The POI setting data sheet opens, where you can enter further data.
