~~ NOTOC ~~ ====== Create a custom itinerary ====== You may want to share information about a route with others. Creating and exporting a waybill may seem like a good solution. However, there may be data in the itinerary that we do not want to make public. ===== Solution ===== - Prepare the journey form in the usual way (see Schedule). - Export the journey form to an Excel file. - Save the resulting workbook and open it in Excel (or another suitable) spreadsheet. - Modify the schedule as you wish. - Print the worksheet. If printing takes more than one sheet, follow these steps to display the time sheet header on each page: **When using Microsoft Excel spreadsheet** - In the Excel spreadsheet, select the Sheet Layout ribbon menu group. - Within this, click the Print Addresses menu item. - In the settings window that appears, in the field to be printed as Title ... / Repeating lines above, enter the header lines you want to display per page (eg for the first 5 lines: $1:$5). - Click Ok to close the window **When using Open Office / Libre Office Calc spreadsheet** - In the Calc spreadsheet, select Format / Print Range / Edit. - In the settings window that appears, in the Rows to repeat field, specify the header rows you want to display per sheet (eg $ 1: $ 5 for the first 5 rows). - Click Ok to close the window **When using Google Spreadsheets** - In the timesheet, select a cell in the last row of the range for the header. - In the spreadsheet, select View / Capture / Up To Current Row (x). - Then choose Print from the File menu. - In the Options section of the window that appears, check the Above repeat lines on each page option. - Press the Print button to start printing. When you print the worksheet, the lines specified above appear at the top of each page. Make sure that the columns of the journey form fit in the selected page orientation (portrait or landscape). This can be achieved either by adjusting the width of the columns, the size of the fonts, the size of the margins, or, depending on the program used, the print parameters.
